Hi All, After hard acceleration from a slip lane yesterday I noticed that there was a slight hestitation with the acceleration not as smooth as usual, when I came off the duel carriageway I noticed that the acceleration had reduced to nothing, the kickdown did not work and the gearbox seemed to be stuck in 4th. e if you are driving above a certain speed like on the motorway, will it wait until the speed reduces to a lower safer level before activating the limp function, if not it could be quiet hairy doing seventy mph in the outside lane if it was to kick in Aug 14, 2009 · It is a long shot but jack up the car and pull the connector lose and look for trany fluid inside the connection and up the wires.
